Jacob Richmann joined Melody Hopes as Executive Director in 2014.  He started working with his good friend and founder David Hitchcock to set out and make a difference through music.  Being raised by a father and mother that influenced him with music from the Motown era, rock, and artist such as Robbie Robertson, Marvin Gay, U2, Rolling Stones, Bob Marley, CCR and more his love for music was born.   With his passion to give back, create and pioneer new opportunities he finds passion in engaging consumers through music, the power of what it represents and  how it changes lives.  A natural born visionary, Jacob’s degree in Marketing Communications, Business and Art has left him well versed in all aspects of business in a multitude of industires.  His vibrant and strategic approach to brand awareness and growth is evident.  His personal brand distributed to Jostens, Chamilia, Pfizer, Waxing Poetic and entrepeneurship has  providing him a wealth of experience in working with retailers and consumers around the world.  Jacob’s focus is centered on providing superior service, innovation, and commitment to preserving the musical arts in our lives. Therefore offering products and services with a passion, while creating a local and global awareness of the importance that music has on humanity is a priority to Jacob.  Through his experience, creative spirit, and leadership he is positioning Melody Hopes as one of the top foundations both domestically and internationally.

Jacob has been part of a number of life impacting companies as a board member. As an avid music lover, athlete, and artist, Jacob strives to stay grounded and always maintain a positive outlook that embraces life.  He resides in Carpinteria, CA with his wife and children, while never forgetting his roots and his home state of Minnesota.
